Help Using this Tool

There are 6 different visualizations in the tool. Each visualization provides selection and filtering tools that allow you to change the display.

  1. Shows total methane emissions for the selected country(ies) and years, grouped by sector.
  2. Shows total methane emissions in the Biogas Sector for the selected country(ies) and years.
  3. Shows total methane emissions in the Coal Mines Sector for the selected country(ies) and years.
  4. Shows total methane emissions in the Oil & Gas Sector for the selected country(ies) and years.
  5. Provides global map with pie charts to illustrate the types and amounts of methane emissions.
  6. Provides access to data that can be filtered by sector, country, and year.

ÑÇÃÀÌåÓý the Data

The data represent projected global emissions of methane through 2050 for industry sectors. The source data are organized into eight fields, as shown below. The table below shows which fields were processed to align the source data to the industry sectors supported by ÑÇÃÀÌåÓý (Biogas, Coal Mines, and Oil & Gas).
